Make your own Robofish, an Arduino powered robotic fish
Here’s a project for fish lovers wanting to add a spark of life to your fish pond… Sorry!
It’s a robotic fish, controlled by an Arduino Compatible board (Arduino Uno would be OK), 3 servos and a set of infra-red sensors. The body is made from polystyrene, with small cut-outs for the servos and micro-controller board.
The infra-red sensors allow the robotic fish to sense obstacles up to 5 cm’s away. Since it moves at a slow and steady pace this is enough time to react and change course.
The electronics are kept dry using a plastic bag.
With its graceful movement and fish-like looks, it would look well among a group a Koi!
