DIY Raspberry Pi Weather station in minutes
Come Rain or Shine
The beauty about modern development boards like the Raspberry PI is the speed that ideas can become reality. In this case with a few lines of code a Raspberry PI is transformed into an internet connected weather station.
It uses a Yahoo weather feed and collects the data via their RSS weather API.
It’s an assembled 2.8 inch color graphics LCD with on board LCD controller and a resolution of 320×240. Found on ebay and it’s almost a brand-less product.
The project will be available with full instructions very soon via instructable (We’ll add the link as soon as it’s ready!)
